Whitetail Lodge in St. Germain, Wisconsin: Review

Northern Wisconsin is well known for its amazing Northwoods area. It is a great getaway from all of the day to day chaos of work, the city and everything else. The Whitetail Lodge in St. Germain, Wisconsin is one of those perfect getaway spots.

The Whitetail Lodge is located at 8918 WI-70 in St. Germain. With its unique and peaceful atmosphere and its warm hospitality, you will be sure to have a wonderful vacation getaway.

The Lodge isn't your typical large and crowded hotel. There is only one level to the Lodge and they only have 30 guest rooms in all. All of the guest rooms though are very spacious and are decorated with a touch of the Northwoods like paintings of deer, ducks or woods scenery.

The rooms are very cozy and inviting. They have everything that you need. All rooms include a microwave, a refrigerator, a TV/VCR combo, cable TV, a sitting area, and a gas fireplace to keep you cozy and warm. The bathrooms have a beautiful ceramic tile floor and have a large tub that has whirlpool jets in it, which are nice and relaxing! The bathroom also includes a hairdryer, so you don't have to pack that.

All of the rooms have their own private outdoor patio. You can relax out here and enjoy the beautiful scenery and the sounds of nature all around you. If you are a smoker, you have to step out here and have a cigarette. All of the guest rooms are non-smoking rooms.

The Lobby area of the Lodge is very warm and cozy. They have four comfortable chairs that are sitting in front of the large stone fireplace. Then hanging from the ceiling above where you are sitting is a large chandelier made out of the antlers of deer. If you have never seen one of these before, they are really cool! It is a nice place to gather with others and hang out.

The pool area is located in a very beautiful room made out of nice oak wood. They have a fairly good sized pool and a ten person whirlpool tub, where you can have some fun at. Surrounding the pool area were a bunch of tables and chairs where you can gather at and watch the kids swim.
