There's a big flower market near my house here in Bangkok. It's on every Wednesday and is mobbed by Thai women getting married. They open around midnight, and all my friends who have been getting married go then - apparently you get the best flowers and it's easier to order exactly what you want for the wedding. Cheap too! Do you know in Thailand you can buy a dozen Thai roses for 75 cents???? :-) Good article.

This sounds like a great resource. It's just a pity that if I were to buy any fresh flowers from San Francisco that they would probably wilt after 3 hours getting them back home! Sophie
