Nora Roberts is one of the bestseller writers of our time. She writes basically romance novels, although she touches different genres, like mystery, science fiction and fantasy.

Nora Roberts loves to create series, so her characters can grew and interact in different stages or their lives. In the pure romance group of novels, my favorite in the Gallagher Trilogy, the Irish saga of three siblings. It starts with "Jewels of the Sun", the arrival of the American Jude to her ancestors' land, Ireland, and her relationship with Aidan Gallagher, the attractive owner of a pub in a small and charming town. The fantastic side of the story belongs to the curse that separates the ghost who lives in Jude's house and Carrick, the Prince of the Faeries. Sexy love and easy reading, this book brings to life the colorful descriptions of an enchanted Ireland, and the characters are lovely. The second and third books of the trilogy, "Tears of the Moon" and "Heart of the Sea", describe the love search of the two other Gallagher siblings, Shawn and Darcy, and the lace that ties them with the magical curse. This trilogy is pretty entertaining for some holidays at the beach.

In the science fiction area, Nora Roberts wrote a series of novels writing as J. D. Robb, the "In dead" group. This series is a mix of mystery, detectives' novel and romance with hot sex, with lots of action and a kick butt heroin. The description of the police procedure is trough, and the cases original.
