Care needs to be exercised when you are cleaning leather furniture, luggage, shoes, cars and other products that contain leather. But does this product work well on removing dried in ink stains? When cleaning leather or preparing it, make sure that you do not soak it in water for any length of time. Have a clean cloth on hand to help remove the ink stain before you apply any cleaning solution to the stain. I tried Leather & Vinyl Cleaner by Bluemagic in an effort to remove an ink stain from the leather backseat of my car. All other methods that I had tried had failed. The ink stain was still very noticeable even after using other products that I felt sure would work well at cleaning the leather seat. Would this product work at removing the stain where other methods had failed?
Leather & Vinyl Cleaner by Bluemagic comes with a 100% money back guarantee if you are not completely satisfied with this product. This helped inspire me with confidence that this product would work. The front of the bottle claimed to "safely clean all leather and vinyl surfaces". With that in mind, I set to work to remove the ink stain.
The directions on the back of the bottle are easy to follow. Shake the bottle well and spray directly onto the surface. Use a clean cloth to rub the leather with. If the stain is tough to get out, a second application may be required.
However, the first application did nothing to lift the ink stain. After waiting a few minutes, I applied a second application of Leather & Vinyl Cleaner by Bluemagic and scrubbed it to see if it would be easier to lift the stain. But, I found to my disappointment that this product did not even fade the ink stain, let alone remove it altogether.
If you have leather furniture or leather seats in your car, you will want to keep the leather looking good for years to come, rather than full of stains that will detract from the beauty of leather. I would not recommend Leather & Vinyl Cleaner by Bluemagic as the solution to ink stains on leather. It is a runny solution that does not even coat the stain. If you want to remove ink stains from leather, I would suggest looking elsewhere for a leather cleaner or leather stain remover.
