American Idol Season 7, March 25: Michael John's Performance

The astounding performance by Michael John on last night's episode of American Idol had the entire crowd up jumping and clapping to "We Will Rock You." Not only was I impressed he was able to sing such a popular rock song as well as he did but more impressed that he was able to sing the song with such confidence.

He made himself look so natural singing the song and so natural jamming to the beat. He will be gaining a lot more votes from his performance last night than he has in the past and I know his current fans were just as impressed by his choice in song from the year he was born.

Randy told Michael he just needs to believe in himself and that it was his best performance this season. You can not agree more if only all of the idols in this season sang with a little more confidence they would all be doing so much better at this point being in the top ten. Paula was standing and clapping to the music as Michael was singing and when it came to her turn, she said, "This was your shining moment."

Simon as well was just as impressed with Michael's performance. He said, "This was the first time I saw star potential with you. This was the only memorable performance." That could not have been said any better since the previous performances of the night were not as well received by the judges or the audience.

Michael's singing talents truly shined with his performance emphasizing on his strength in carrying notes and being able to hit all of the notes of songs with ease. I believe he may be our next American Idol for this season as long as he is able to continue to deliver performances week after week like his performance last night.
