Ramiele Malubay's Performance on American Idol

Ramiele Malubay's performance Tuesday, on American Idol, was not bad but could have been better. It was better tonight than last week but she needs to become much better at choosing her songs.

Ramiele was born in 1987 and all contestants were to sing songs from the year they were born. It didn't work very well for her. Her choice was too slow and old fashion for her. Not a song for her voice.

In my opinion, if Ramiele doesn't go back to singing like she did when the show started she won't make it much farther down the road. She really needs to improve and get back to the music she came on with.

Tonight Ramiele was sick and losing her voice. She looked like she wasn't feeling very well and like it was an effort for her to be there. Too bad that she couldn't have skipped tonight as it didn't do her justice.

Ramiele seemed to be listening to the constructive criticism of the judges. This being the case she has the potential to improve greatly instead of going downhill. She has a beautiful voice and needs to put it to good use, in the style best for her voice.

I think Ramiele will make it through to next week but unsure how many more weeks she will be on American Idol if she doesn't get back up to where she once was. She needs to pay attention and chose songs, like at the beginning, or she is sure to be going home.

Although I have thought that Brooke White would walk away the winner, I wasn't really enthused with her performance last night. With the improvement of Syesha Mercado last night I am thinking this would be the one to challenge Ramiele.
