There is so many amazing scents to enjoy in your home that can really affect your health or even create a special mood for you. Some of these scents are good to calm us down, put us in the mood for a little romantic moment, or even just hearten us up in many different ways. So now your thinking OK what scents will do this? Here is a list of them for you:

Pelargonium plant- This is a very popular aromatic plant that can actually improve your sleep. It comes in various scents like rose, lemon, nectar, nutmeg, and mint. Not only will this help you improve your sleep, but it may also cure depression and spice things up a little for you.Place some of this in your bedroom and it will always be filled with that romantic scent. You will never get tired of this smell. It's a very delightful scent to have.

Create a vegetable herb scent in your kitchen maybe a scent of your favorite spice will help improve your appetite, escape tiredness, and make you have a more of an positive outlook. Try to choose like thyme, mint, lavender, or even savory. Place some into a bowl and leave it on your counter or table.

Take a oil warmer or a light bulb ring from the bottom of a bedroom lamp. Squeeze some fresh juice from a orange or grapefruit into this warmer. This will help your memory, remove some depression, and add some vivacity to you. Place this into any room in your home.

Place some lavender or citrus scented dryer sheets into the air duct in your home. When the heat comes on you will create a very romantic aromatic unique scent in your house.

Take some essential oils and easily add them to paper mache. This will create a very romantic scent and a wonderful piece of art.

If you have a fireplace you can add a few drops of oil to a dried log. Then allow it to dry before placing into the fireplace. A great scent is like cypress, cedar wood, or even myrrh.

Great tips. I love for the house to smell really good. Each time my dear mother peeled an orange, she would put the peel into a pot of water and let it heat slowly on the stove. She would also put in a cinnamon stick or some cloves or whatever she had. It smelled so wonderful. To me she invented good smells.

I love the idea of planting a herb garden. We grew mint and vegetables in our tiny vegetable garden at home. You can't beat the smell of mint, lavender and rosemary! Sophie
