Meet Donald Pennington

What makes a good content producer is not only the ability to write, but the ability to translate one's experiences into words. AC Content Producer Donald Pennington has plenty of experiences to draw from, and tops it all off with an immense appreciation for his readers and respect for fellow writers. AC: Tell me a little about yourself. What is it that makes you who you are?

DP: Well, gee...um...a little vague sometimes? I'm a writer. But I'm also a janitor, salvager, tree-trimmer, window-washer, etc.,
I'm doing what must be done, to be able to do what must be done.

AC: Have you ever failed? What did you learn from it?

DP: Who hasn't? Repeatedly. Sometimes out of ignorance, other times stupidity. It all depends on how you see your failures. As utter destruction or simple learning opportunities?

AC: What are your hobbies?

DP: Define hobbies. Can it be a hobby if I get paid for it? I put a lot of time on the web. Why...this article alone took me two years.

AC: Where have you traveled?

DP: I've been all over the southern US and back. The last time I took off was due to a marital breakdown. When I hit 36, I guess, she wanted to trade me in for two 18 year-olds!

AC: What did you learn there?

DP: I learned how to stay calm and not blow a gasket over something that I've no say in anyway...

AC: Who are your favorite writers. Why?

DP: I've too many to pick just any one favorite. I feel towards authors as if they're a sort of ancestor to my consciousness.

AC: Are there any political or social issues that you feel passionately about?

DP: I'm mainly concerned with elements of individual liberty. If the rights of the individual are protected, then every one of every race, sex, religion, nationality, political persuasion are also guaranteed.

AC: How do you feel about the state of the media today, and where do you see it going in the future?
