I moved to Africa when I was 5 years old, with my missionary parents who had previously done work in places like India, and Japan, and the underdeleveped eastern European countries, nothing could have prepared them for what we saw in Africa.

Nigeria was the first country we lived in and although we had a house there for 5 years we traveled alot to the other Western African countries, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Senegal, Guinee, Liberia, Togo, and Chad. People living in such poverty it broke our hearts just to see them.

In Liberia and Sierra Leone two countries where war was very abundunt, we helped ex child soldiers and ex combatants, we set up orphanages for children who had witnessed the horrible murder of their entire families right before their eyes, and tried to help in any other way possible, whether it was bringing food to starving families, or giving seminars teaching people how to take care of them selves, bringing them clothes, trying to make a difference in their world.

So many all over the world overlook and turn a blind eye to the sufferings, if you would take into account how many billions of dollars america wastes every day on weapons and the amount of food that goes to waste, cause they simply have to much of it, you realize if people had a heart this world would be a much better place, our work was completly voluntary we didn't have big church sponsors or work for some NGO, it was all voluntary we figured that if God wanted us to be doing this work for the needy and poor that he was gonna have to supply everything along the way, and trust me I have seen some spectactular miracles of God, ranging from free accommodation, to free airline tickets to business men in parts of Africa that wanted to be a part of our work by supplying the resources and finances to get the jobs done.

It goes to show that when you are in the center of God's will, there is nothing He won't do for you, I will write another couple articles just to share some of the many miracles that have happened to me.
