Audio products are a great way to enhance your blog or website. There are many programs available to help you add these audio products to your site. The fees and features of the programs vary between applications. Some have downloadable software to use on your computer at your convenience, while others require a phone into their system to record your audio. I have talked about Audio Acrobat before in a previous article. It comes highly recommended because it is easy to use and is available at a reasonable price. They offer a 30-day free trial, and then Audio Acrobat is just $19.95 a month after that. The service is available 24 hours a day. You record your audio by phone- up to 120 minutes or you can record right onto your computer. Download the file onto your computer for editing, then upload to Audio Acrobat, and post to your site. An almost instant audio product to bring a touch of personality to your domain.
Record for All offers a Podcasting Bundle that includes their popular Record for All and Feed for All software. The Podcasting Bundle is software you install on your computer to record all of your audio needs and turn them into live feeds. It has a cool self correcting feature that will repair podcasts and feeds that are formatted incorrectly. There is a free downloadable version to test it out. The cost for Record for All is $69.95. Since this is software, it is just a one-time fee.
Gabcast offers phone recorded audio products with your choice of three services. The free service which is well free, the Pro service is $6 per month, and the Premium service is $12 per month. Both the Pro and Premium offer free web hosting with their service as well. The US Gabcast access number is toll free. They also have access numbers for various countries around the world.
For creating audio and video products Adobe offers Captivate 3. This is a pricy choice compared to the others. You can download a free trial of Capitvate 3, but to buy the program it is $699, usually not an amount in the budget of a small business.
