A Delicious and Healthy Snack for Your Toddler

What a great idea, Gerber Graduates Cereal Bars Strawberry Banana 8 in a box. This is a perfect little snack for my two year old son. I write a lot of reviews when it comes to products I use with my son, but this is one product that Gerber definitely got right. These are the Gerber Graduates for Toddlers cereal bars. The flavor that I will be reviewing is the strawberry banana fruit and cereal bar. Each box has eight cereal bars individually wrapped, which I love. My son can grab a quick snack without ruining the entire box. Whenever I open a box of cookies for him, he eats about a handful and then the rest go bad and get stale. The individually wrapped idea was great. They are a good source of calcium, iron, zinc and contain no trans fat. There are 70 calories in a serving. One cereal bar equals one serving. There are 15 calories from fat per serving. There are 1.5 g of total fat which none are saturated. There is no cholesterol. There are 13g of total carbs. There is no dietary fiber and 8 g of sugar. There is less than 1g of protein.
They are made with real fruit and oats. There are no artificial flavors or preservatives. My son loves to eat fresh bananas and fresh strawberries. My son is extremely picky when he eats so if he asks for these, I could only conclude that he likes the flavor and enjoys eating them. If he is still hungry, I will allow him to have two, but he doesn't usually need that much. One cereal bar seems to be very filling. Out of all the treats in my pantry, these are the ones he picks. I always let him choose his snack, and he chooses the Gerber cereal bars. As I am writing this review, my son just asked for more. He saw me holding the box to look at the nutritional information. He is now on his second bar. He likes to break them in half and eat them that way. They are light but filling. They have a fruity strawberry smell to them. They are not flaky and don't drop crumbs all over my kitchen floor. When my son is done eating them, his hands are not sticky at all, neither is his face. I can't say enough good things about this healthy quick grab on the go snack.
