I work less than 25 hours a week, and I make over five hundred dollars in cash each week, in addition to my hourly wage. What do I do for my living? It is completely legal, enjoyable, and fairly easy. I am a server at a 1950's theme diner. I laughed when I was offered the job out of the blue. I thought "Yeah, I can see myself waiting tables ..."

I was open minded and I gave it a shot, I expected to work for maybe a week as a waitress. At the end of my first day, I had another idea. I loved the money, and I was pretty good at smiling, talking to customers and the presentation of the meal. I have been serving for a while now, I seriously think I will stay in this line of work for quite a while. Some days, I make over forty dollars an hour at my job. There is no guarantee of how much I can earn. I have had days where I only made $2, but there are a lot more days when I bring home $150 in as little as five hours.

Serving is easy, you treat the customer with respect, you fulfill any special requests, and smile a lot. I make sure my customers feel special, like family or a VIP. When you are willing to go the extra mile to please your guests, they will generously tip. Sure, I only make $3.50 an hour before tips, but the tips really add up to good money!

I work less 25 hours a week by choice, I can afford the luxury of part time hours. I make more a week than most people I know do at a full time. I mean seriously an average hourly wage is less than ten dollars an hour for employees without special training or a college degree. That is 400 dollar a week, before taxes for the full time employee. In half the time I make over one hundred dollars more each week in cash, plus I am paid every two weeks what I earn from my hourly wage.

To earn this kind of money, you usually need no skills or education. Serving is a great job for students as well as the average woman. Serving is a fun job, if you are in the right environment. Just keep a few things in mind. Your customer wants efficient, friendly service, to achieve a generous tip, make sure to check on your customers during the meal. Smile a lot, and never complain to the customer!
