If you consider yourself a newbie online than you may find it difficult to create html tags for your links. This article will take you step by step on how to use html tags for your links.

Things you will need:
*Computer
*Internet Connection

Step 1: Decide where it is you want your link to be. Links can have different html tags depending on what you are using them for. The most common html link is found in signatures on forums or in emails.

Step 2: Most forums use the following html code to create signatures: Title of Your Site. I'll give you an example of how I would make my blog a link in the WAHM Forum. 100% Free to Work at Home. Now just replace my info with yours. Sometimes this can also be called BBC code. All forums are not the same, but most either follow the example I just gave you or the one you are about to read.

Step 3: If you need to create an html link for your blog or website you would do that a little differently than you would for your signature. To create an html link for your blog you would need to follow this format: Your Site's Title . Now I will give you an example how I would create a link for my blog that takes people to my website: Legitimate Home Based Businesses. Now again, just replace my info with yours. This is the format you want to use when creating link lists etc.

Step 4: Html tags aren't that hard once you have done them a few times. They will become 2nd nature. What you want to do now is visit a site that explains html so you can get the hang of things. I recommend you visit this site: http://www.w3schools.com/html/ and read a little bit more about html tags each day. This has got to be the number one site on the internet today that teaches newbies how to create html tags for their links. It's easier to follow than most sites.

Tips:
* Don't try to learn html all in 1 day. It takes practice to get the hang of things.
* Print yourself out some basic html tags so you have a quick reference guide.

Warnings
* Make sure to backup any website or blog data before attempting to add any new
Codes to it.

Takeaways
 • Don't try to learn html all in one day.
 • Print out your basic html codes to use as a reference guide.
 • Remember signatures have a different code than website links.
