Program Provides Inside Look to Disney Careers

Recruiters from the Walt Disney World College Program came to campus  at Webb Hall Room 110 for an information session for students about the program. Walter Diaz, Director of Career Services, first spoke about the student guidelines and eligibility requirements for the program. Afterwards, Kathleen Stafford and Sharon Hoagg, both representatives from the program spoke with students about history of the program, the program’s growth, the variety of jobs available, the courses that are available at Disney World that can be taken in addition to working there, the grooming guidelines, as well as the co-op periods.

Did You Know?
They will be able to live in apartments provided by Disney that include 24-hour security, a computer lab, kitchens in each apartment, and laundry facilities. Students pay will automatically be deducted for rent, however they will receive free tickets for admission to all the theme parks as well as a discount on all Disney merchandise during there stay there.
