Working from home is wonderful. I have been working from home since 1988. I have supported my children and myself with the income from my home business. I actually have had a few home businesses because as most of you have probably experienced, life has a way of changing and sometimes those changes require that you do some changing to accommodate what life throws at you. You may have to change your home business to adapt to what is happening in your community, or within your family. So be aware that nothing is forever. You have to be able to observe what is going on in the business world, with the economy and with your own finances. Get used to being able to look at the big picture and to be able to understand how you and your business fits into that picture. If you can do this and then be able to adapt to what you see, then you and your home business can survive most anything. Now, that I have said that and you are aware of the existence of change and that you need to be able to look at the big picture and know how your piece of the picture fits into the big picture, we are ready to find your piece.
There are many different types of home businesses. Each type has its advantages and disadvantages. Finding the right type of home business is what you need to decide first. Below I have listed just a few types of home businesses for you to consider.
