Obama, What's Wrong with Being Wright?

Sometimes when the motivations of evil doers are pondered by those with good intentions, others mistake the explanations as a justification.

"Yes, I see where you're coming from."

Is this statement not often followed by a counter argument. To unravel the fabric of inhumanity and its manifestations-to cure any disease-it is often useful to understand its causes.

Obama's old friend and reverend, Jeremiah Wright, may be another victim of the media trying to fill its financial obligations to share holders by hyping up controversy. His post 9/11 sermon, while maybe insensitive with its proximity to the events, is not as anti-American as some might think. It does not seem Rev. Wright has hate for every white person walking the street. He just has hate born of love for decent people, which makes him hate the kind of people who overthrow democratically elected governments, exploit other people's resources, force people of another race to work for shite wages, and intentionally blow up entire cities of civilians, which we don't do anymore thanks to advances in weapons technology.

Of course, thousands of civilians still die when the U.S. President starts swinging our sword around, but we haven't directly targeted civilians since World War II-I think.

(Although I do agree that dropping the nuclear bombs actually saved lives of both Japanese and Americans and all the little countries caught in between. And the nuke is possibly the reason why the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. never went at it directly with the full might of their conventional arms. Take a second to ponder how many town and cities would be uninhabitable from chemical weapons, depleted uranium shells, and hundreds of millions of rotting corpses.)

Anyway, back to Obama and guilt by association.
