Chelsea Clinton Indianapolis Indiana

I woke up this morning, March 26, with Channel 13 news on, http://www.cfnews13.com/. I saw Chelsea Clinton's "mishap" in Indianapolis. Is Chelsea Clinton helping or hurting Hillary Clinton's campaign? Yesterday in Indiana at a college a young man asked if Hillary Clinton's credibility has been hurt due to the Monica Lewinsky issue. The question took Chelsea Clinton by surprise and caught her off guard. I'm sorry but that was the biggest scandal of Bill Clinton's presidency and you would think questions about Monica Lewinsky would have came up by now. Why would you not be prepared for something like that. If Chelsea Clinton were running for office I don't think I would vote for her because she didn't do a very good job of handling the situation. The young man didn't ask a question about Monica Lewinsky he asked if Hillary's credibility was hurt. Chelsea Clinton should have taken the question in stride and frowned at the young man and said "No." and went on with another question, instead of getting defensive and losing her poise and saying that was none of his business. Had the young man asked her how Hillary Clinton or even how she felt about Monica Lewinsky, then I could see her reaction being legitimate. BUT he didn't. He was asking about credibility. I think that was a good point and she blew it. After seeing that I certainly wonder if all the Clintons would just act off of emotion or evade a question to hide something.

Things have happened in that family's past and people are going to ask questions. Any time you have a high profile family in the limelight you have to expect probing questions. I am a little disappointed in Chelsea Clinton. I am sure, especially after her reaction, that her father's actions really hurt her and she hasn't gotten over the issue yet. For someone who is putting herself in a position of being questioned, she needs to learn poise and finesse. Luckily for Chelsea Clinton, the college students clapped whether in sympathy and understanding or from being in similar situations themselves.
