How to Put Cool Scroll Boxes on Myspace
I know you have seen the plain scroll boxes. They are every where. I found a site that offers cool scroll boxes. Scroll boxes are great to use when you have a lot to say. You can use the scroll box in the About Me section, General section, or any section. In this
tutorial I will show you how to create these scroll boxes and how to put them on MySpace.
I found these scroll boxes at HotLyts.com. Go to HotLyts.com and let the page load. On the left side in the blue box you will see the Scroll Box Codes link. Click that link to go to the scroll box page. This page may take a minute or two to load if you are using dial up. There are a lot of scroll boxes on this page.
When the page loads, look through the different boxes and find the one that you want to use. Then copy the code in the scroll box that you want to put on your MySpace page. The code box is right below the scroll box. When you copy the code you will need to edit it. The best way that I found to edit the code is to paste it in notepad. So open notepad and paste it in there. Pasting it in notepad will allow you to see it better and you can see what you are working with.
When you paste the code in notepad you will see all of the add some text here, replace it with your own text. Take that text about and type what you want to appear in the box. You can also edit the size of the scroll box. In the code you will see style="width:300;height:80. If you want the box to be smaller, lower the width and height. If you want it larger, enter larger numbers.
You can also change the size of the border and the color of the border. In your code you will see border: 4px solid; border-color:20BEE5. Your code may be a little different but you will still see the border and border-color. To change the size of the border, change the pixel size. To change the color of the border, enter the hex code for the color that you want to use. Once you have edited it the way that you want it, you can add it to your MySpace page.
