Are We Ready for Gay Marriage in Society?
I say no, sorry, and I know that's not the answer a lot of people want to hear.
Many believe that gay marriage represents an equal right. I respectfully submit this is not true, and that it represents a special right above and beyond our existing sane law. Traditional marriages and families have been the foundation of all of the great, thriving and happy civilizations on Earth.
Every person already has the same equal right to enter into a marriage, according to the definition of the word. Society is not under an obligation to convert our sane law into one that is insane. We are not going to feel guilty and change the rules to please people who want to marry members of the same sex, their dog, a corpse, or a refrigerator that resembles a plus-size person. All of these desires are equally absurd and they do not meet the definition of a legitimate marriage. This gives an accurate picture, however, of why gay marriage fully meets the classification of an extreme special right.
Many say that heterosexual marriage today does more to harm the institution of marriage than gay marriage. While heterosexual marriage has a lot of problems, these are also attributable to the liberal lifestyle, and allowing gay marriage certainly isn't going to remedy the situation. I have written about some major problems of heterosexual marriage in my articles, "5 Secret Reasons Why Marriages Fail."and "Should Divorce be Made Illegal, Except for Unfaithfulness?"
Allowing weird forms of so-called "marriage" will destroy us, 100 per cent for certain. The acceptance of such practices has led to the downfall of all great empires throughout history. Those who do not learn from history are destined to repeat it.
Individuals who believe there is no harm in a man marrying another man meet the clinical definition of the "I" word, with all due respect. Apparently, much of the population has been brainwashed by liberalism and by the homosexual agenda. This might unfortunately be irreparable, unless people decide to undergo electroshock therapy or some other radical form of treatment.

- Homosexuals already have the equal right to marry; gay marriage is a special right above the law.
- Allowing gay marriage will not help the shaky condtion that currently exists with marriage.
- 28 states have "just said no," but gay marriage is almost always a cause for which Democrats stand.
