When Liberals Attack!

Flak vest? Check. Kevlar helmet? Check. Locked and loaded facts, wit, sarcasm and jingoism? Check. Okay friends, I'm ready for when Liberals attack.

How in the Hell can these people get away with this? On the one hand they lay claim to the moral high ground of universal acceptance of all cultures and points of view, if and until that point of view comes from a fellow countryman and that viewpoint is one of tradition and Conservatism. Seems the "Inclusive Ones" have done it again!

What is it? It's when one of us Conservatives dares to put forth our values of tradition and love of country. These Inclusive Ones suddenly become damned non-inclusive when it comes to us Red State jingoists. It's almost as if they don't much like us.

But how can that be? These peeps, the haters of all things traditionally American, will go to the mat to defend a trans-gendered three legged dog with Herpes Simplex 27, yet if I dare wear a flag lapel pin, I am equated to a Hitlerite.

Nationalism has taken on a very negative meaning for the haters. Of course, as haters, it is to be expected. These peeps are the disestablishmentarianists of our age. They portray most everything about our nation and its traditions in a negative light. They misrepresent our history; they place undue weight on any negative, and almost no weight on any positive.

For every positive good for which our nation has been historically credited these disestablishmentarianists will find two negatives. And for the most part the haters and their negatives are trumped up or massively magnified in order for their vision to carry additional weight. The haters level all manner of indictment against our nation and those of us who defend her.

Forgotten by these people are the hundreds of thousands of Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice to free the oppressed; the millions who have gone to war for someone else in order that they may be free; the trillions of US dollars we have given over the last 7 decades or so to build, and rebuild this world; the billions our nation GIVES to Third World nations to help them rise from poverty.
