Bill Clinton Speaks at Penn State About Why Hillary is the Best Candidate Hands Down

STATE COLLEGE, Pennsylvania, March 27 -- The race for the Democratic Party that consists of Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton is something that I just can't get enough of. Even though I am for sure voting for Hillary Clinton, I've still jumped at the chances of hearing Barack Obama speak whenever I'm close by. This competition has gotten very serious, and I am happy to see that Hillary has not backed away from the race.

While in Pennsylvania this whole week with the University of Texas at San Antonio College Democrats, we decided to make a stop at the "Solutions for America" speech that Bill Clinton, Hillary's husband and former president, gave at Penn State. It was not easy to get into this event, as almost every space inside of the Rec Center was packed, with over 6,000 people, but we made it.

When we first got to the Rec Center you could feel the energy and the anticipation that people were experiencing at having Bill Clinton give a speech about his wife. He was very charming, and when he came out onto the stage that was set up for him, the whole gym gave him a standing ovation.

While surrounded by American flags on all sides, Bill Clinton first spoke about how much he loved Penn State. He reminisced on his days as president, and the trips he'd taken there. He also made some remarks about the ice cream he'd had, and how he'd never forget how delicious it was.

Once he had his crowd, he started to talk about his wife Hillary. He went on to explain her plan for the economy and the health plan in details. He explained how it would help the people in Pennsylvania who were having trouble keeping their homes, keeping their people in schools, and keeping their elderly well taken care of. He described how her health plan would help everyone, even the college students.

Once he was done talking about that, he went on to talk about how Hillary would minimize tuition for those who could maintain a good GPA, and how she would help to raise the average salary for teachers all around. He emphasized how important education was to Hillary and how she had a very good plan on how to fix the things that were wrong with it, in comparison to Barack Obama's plans.
