Educational toys can be really fun.  If you find it hard to get your children to study, these toys will get them to study without them knowing it.  Some of these toys not only help them in school, but prepare them for life in general.  When your children are playing with educational toys, you don’t feel so guilty.  You may even find your child asking for one of these toys this holiday season.  These five gifts are just a starting point.  There are several educational toys out there that are quite fun.

Leapster:  The Leapster handheld toys allow your kids to play games while studying.  This is the perfect example of a fun educational toy.  Your children will learn math, spelling, etc.  While you’re grocery shopping your child will be able to play with this educational toy allowing them to learn and you to shop in peace.

Trivial Pursuit:  Children can be very competitive.  Trivial Pursuit is an educational toy that allows your children to be competitive while learning. There are several different versions of Trivial Pursuit, even editions that are specifically for kids.  You can even play using two decks of question cards and when it’s your child’s turn, you simply pull a card from the children’s deck.  The object of this educational toy is to answer questions correctly.  As you make your way around the board you will be awarded pie pieces that fit into your player piece.  When you have all your pie pieces you make your way to the center of the board and must answer a question correctly to win.

Easy Bake Oven:  This educational toy is fun and will prepare your children for life.  So many people are leaving home without being able to cook.  Do you honestly want your children to live on fast food?  The Easy Bake Oven is an educational toy that will get your children interested in cooking.  They will be able to make cookies, cakes, and even pasta.  There are even versions that are made for boys that allow them to make gross food, such as mold for their food.
