You must remember to buy your dog a gift for the holidays. Gifts for dogs are always fun. They seem to sense which gift is theirs. They will sniff the package over and over, almost in anticipation of what might be in there. I always buy my dog a gift each Christmas and even buy my family's dogs gifts as well. Here are ten great gifts to buy your dog this holiday season.

Treats: Well of course you can't go wrong with treats. Instead of buying the same old treats they get throughout the year, buy your dog something special. During the holiday season you can find several different treats. Last year, I and my boyfriend got our dog a package of 3 different bags of treats. One bag was chocolate chips, one was brownies, and the other chocolate mints. Now of course this was chocolate that was safe for dogs. Precious, our dog, thought this was the perfect gift.

Heated Dog Bed: If you live in an area that is cool during the winter, a heated dog bed will make the perfect gift. Dogs love to cozy and a heated bed will not only allow them to be warm and cozy, but it will also help keep your their joints from getting sore in the cold weather.

Fancy Dog Bed: There are so many cute dog beds out there these days. A fancy bed makes the perfect gift this holiday season. Now these aren't your average dog beds. These beds have fancy, decorated covers and bed frames; some even have brass bed frames. The cutest ones look just like human beds, only much, much smaller. Give your dog the gift of luxury this holiday season.

Clothing: This doesn't have to be cute little sweaters. You can also buy clothing that keeps them warm, such as coats. There is also clothing for your dogs that will keep them dry in the rain and snow. If your dog walks with you a lot, you really should buy your dog some little booties that keep their feet protected in the winter. Snow, ice, and salt can pack itself into their paws causing them tremendous pain.

Lit Collar: A perfect gift for your dog is a lit collar. Even if you have them on a leash and are out walking at dark, someone might not see your dog and run over them. This is a great way to protect your dog and others who might not be expecting a dog to come up to them in the dark.
