Are Genetically Modified "Frankenfoods" Killing Off the Worlds Bee Populations?

The world's bee populations are dying off at an alarming rate. Scientists aren't sure why but there are many theories. Millions of bees have simply died. The syndrome has been known as Colony Collapse Disorder or CCD. Twelve to as much as eighty percent losses have been reported at natural and man made hives around the world. CCD has been spreading and death rates have been increasing over the past few years. In just the United States, which has a total of two and a half million hives, seven hundred and fifty thousand hives have been wiped out last year. Millions more are lost world wide. This year, losses in agriculture and food are expected to be in the Billions. Along with all the other droughts and crop shortages, food prices will most likely continue to rise steeply.
This is a very serious problem and has been receiving very little media attention. Why? Just think about what is at stake in just a few short years if CCD is not stopped. Albert Einstein is quoted as saying: "If the bees disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man."
What could be the cause of CCD? Some have speculated that maybe its caused by cell phone tower radiation or some other illogical theories. Theories that are not backed by scientific evidence. There is one scientific study that provides us with an answer to this problem. Many experts believe that the large scale use of Genetically Modified or GM crops, also known as Frankenfoods, are the culprit. Research is ongoing and evidence is mounting that shows that GM crops, which have been spreading around the globe more and more the past few years, are causing CCD by destroying the bees immune systems.
