After a good month in February, the Nintendo Wii's Virtual Console has reverted back to its previous form of slow and underwhelming releases. Still, March was a good month to look into a few under-the-radar titles. In total, nine Virtual Console titles were released during the month. Here are the top five Virtual Console titles released in March.

5. Puyo Puyo 2: Tsuu
Developer: Sega, Publisher: Sega, Original System: Sega Genesis, Original Release Date: 1993, Genre: Puzzle, Controller Options: Wii Remote, Classic and Gamecube, Wii Points: 900, ESRB Rating: E
Puyo Puyo comes in many different forms: Kirby's Avalanche, Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine and under the Puyo names. They are all the same, however. You still have to connect four blobs of the same color together in order to prevent your columns from filling up. Although it remains a solid puzzler, 900 Wii Points is too steep for a Virtual Console game that has been done a million times. Still, Puyo Puyo 2: Tsuu earns a spot on the list.

4. Wonder Boy
Developer: Sega, Publisher: Sega, Original System: Sega Master System, Original Release Date: 1987, Genre: Adventure, Controller Options: Options: Wii Remote, Classic and Gamecube, Wii Points: 500, ESRB Rating: E
Not only Wonder Boy is the first Sega Master System game released on the Virtual Console, but it is also the first game of the underrated 2D adventure series. Playing as the Wonder Boy Tom-Tom, you have to rescue you kidnapped girlfriend. While, the sequels are better (some of which are already on the Virtual Console), Wonder Boy is still a solid title that fans of the genre and series should enjoy.
