Why I Recommend Garnier Fructis and Vive Pro Conditioning Treatments
Embed:
Although there are many similar products available, this review will concern Garnier Fructis Leave-In Conditioning Cream and Vive Pro Nutri-Gloss Conditioning Treatment. My hair is medium-length, dark brown and falls into the normal-to-dry category of hair types. My review will concern the effects of these products on my hair, although other individuals may experience varied results. This review is based on several weeks of use with both products to insure a more accurate review. The Garnier Fructis product recommends shampooing hair and then applying a small amount of the conditioning cream to damp or dry hair. The label advises using a wide-tooth comb or fingers to distribute the product evenly through the hair. Although my hair initially felt more silky, I found that applying the product to dry hair left a sticky or greasy-appearing residue after it dried. When applying to damp hair, the residue was less pronounced but still present. I tried decreasing the amount applied to half of the recommended amount, and I was able to virtually eliminate the problem. Those with other hair types may find they also need more or less than the label recommends. As far as product effectiveness is concerned, the conditioning cream did help to hydrate my hair as advertised. I also noticed a decrease in frizz after repeated use. There were no noticeable differences in hair softness or strength.
