Public Health Services of Lane County provides low-cost clinics for immunization, birth control, sexually transmitted diseases, and prenatal services. Public Health can also provide some family planning exams for women and men and confidential HIV testing and counseling, as well as other health services. Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) operates a Clinic at 3321West 11th Avenue, in Eugene. This clinic provides medical and health services for those who cannot afford health care or who don’t qualify for government assistance. Services are provided by volunteering medical professionals. Volunteers in Medicine also provides a referral service and networks with other health care agencies for specialized and additional care. An appointment is required and the office hours are Monday and Friday, 2-5 pm and Tuesday and Thursday, 2-8:30pm.
