Why I like Lays Baked Potato Crisps BBQ Style
Flavored with KC Masterpiece BBQ Sauce Makes These Chips Saucey
These chips are one of the best I've ever eaten. Alone or with a sandwich they manage to meet my needs for a food that isn't too bad for me and tastes good enough to enjoy eating. No olestra in these bags or even the dreaded, heart damaging trans fats everyone is so concerned about these days. Keeping it real, keeping it tangy, keeping it affordable and I'm your customer for life. Just please don't stop making them. It seems to me that every time I find a food I like it goes to the graveyard of manufacturers.
Lays Baked Potato Crisps with BBQ sauce are easily found in any grocery store on the chip aisle with all the other choices. And, believe me, I have tried most of them. They don't even come close. Well, except for SunChips, they run a very close
second.
The twang of the BBQ sauce is just right, not too spicy, not too boring. With a small touch of sweetness mixed in with the saltiness creating that savory/sweet combination all the Food Network people are talking about. Except this is made in way less than 30 minutes....if fact....I may could eat the whole bag in under 30 minutes! Test it and see....they're Great!
Processing the crisps with no trans fats and with only 120 calories per generous serving makes the Lays Baked BBQ Crisps a healthy and substantial snack. There is only 3 grams of fat, 3 grams of sugar per 14 crisps and the 2 grams of fiber help keep food sugar under control.
Most of us are on the lookout for snacks and fast foods that are less guilt inducing junk foods and more of a sensible choice. Even as a side dish instead of french fries with hamburgers.
They are easy to pack in lunch boxes and bags using plastic sandwich bags and paired with a lean meat sandwich on whole grain bread will fill you up with good things that also taste good.
The Frito-Lay company seems to be looking out for us with their line of baked potato and tortilla chips. I do hope they will make a baked frito. Perhaps I'll give them a call.
