What better way to celebrate your mother or grandmother than to give her a personalized and creative gift from the heart. Giving a personalized Mother's Day gift is truly one of the best gifts that a mother could receive from her child. It does not have to be fancy or perfect, as it comes from the heart and will have a special meaning.

If you are really creative, you can write your mother her own poem. Let her know how thankful you are for her. Even if you are not creative, see what you can come up with. You may just surprise yourself with how goof you actually do. If you are really struggling with writing a poem, then find a poem out of a book or use your mother's favorite poem. Type up the poem on some nice paper that you can get from your local craft store. You can use stationary, card stock or some scrapbook paper with maybe some hearts or flowers or clouds on it. You will also need to purchase a nice frame to hang the poem in. Your mother will have something to hang in her house that will remind her of you every time she walks past it. Anther variation you can do, is to find out your mother's favorite Bible verse or quote and print that out instead of a full length poem. Use a fancy font so that the verse takes up most of the paper. If you don't know her favorite verse or quote, use one that is special to you.

If you have young children a personalized Mother's Day gift you can give a grandma is a collection of your children's artwork. Buy some construction paper and let your children draw some pictures for grandma. Gather up the drawings and make a cover for the book with a title like, "Grandma's Special Book of Drawings." Use your children's name as the author of the book. Punch two holes in the left side of the book and use a piece of ribbon or yarn to bind the pages together. Tie the material through the two holes. This is something that grandma can treasure even when the grandkids are grown.
