Fun to Make Gift Ideas for Your Pet

Trying to think of that perfect gift for your pet? I know every year I try to find a little something that my pet really likes during the Holiday season

For several years now I have made homemade doggy treats for my own pup as well as for those of my friends. There are many doggy treat recipes online so I won’t go into that here, but a nice Holiday tin filled with fresh tidbits will make a certain dog as well as their owner happy.

Make a gift basket for that favorite furry pal. Gather together into a nice basket doggy treats, dog biscuits, rawhide chews, nyla bones and don’t forget a new toy , either fleece or squeaky depending on the pup in question Some dogs are pretty hard on toys so be careful to find the appropriate toy for that special pooch...

Let’s not forget the kitties. A nice basket will be more then a container for the average cat so be sure it’s the right size for snoozing. Add a nice soft pillow and you’ve got one happy cat. Of course there are all kinds of cat treats out there and a selection will be appreciated by most felines. Also pick up some catnip toys to add some fun to the holiday season. Cat toys of all kinds are available online or in your local department store and even if your cat’s favorite toy at the moment is the plastic ring from the milk jug he will enjoy chasing new plastic or furry prey.

Santa doesn’t forget the pets just make sure he knows whose stocking is who’s by writing his name on it with glitter glue. Fill his stocking with his favorite treats and toys and don’t forget to leave Santa a milk bone, I mean cookie this year...

Make fun toys for your dog with fleece purchased at your local craft store. Sew two circles or squares right sides together leaving enough room to turn right side out. Add A bit of polyfill a squeaker found in the craft department sew the opening shut, and you will have a very personal dog toy. You can make the exact size and shape you want and they are washable. These toys will provide hours of fun.
