Give Mom a "Forever Bouquet" for Mother's Day!

My 2nd grader brought home the cutest craft from school last year. It was something called a "Forever Bouquet" and I couldn't have been happier to receive it!! In case your wondering just what this is I'll explain. First of all let me start by saying that this would be the perfect thing for dad and the kids to both be involved in.

Things You'll Need-

A camera
Someone to take the picture of dad and the kids holding the bouquet
Any type of 8x10 piece of heavier colored paper
8x10 frame
A 4x6 picture of the family holding the bouquet once it's developed
A cut to size 4x6 piece of paper, colored differently than the the 8x10 peice, to write the cutest poem you've ever heard on!

First get a bouquet that everyone can agree is the right bouquet to hold for the picture. You could have everyone holding a small bouquet as well. Whatever variations you'd like will be fine. Then, have anyone you can find take the picture of dad and the kids holding the bouquet. Get the picture developed.

Once that's done cut out your 4x6 paper to write your poem on. Here's the poem that goes with it:

Dear Mom,

I will love you forever,
And forever you will be,
The most wonderful mother,
You mean everything to me.

I thought of buying you flowers,
In the usual way, But, I knew you would prefer
A FOREVER BOUQUET!

Boy was she right! How cute is that!! I couldn't stop reading it or looking at it...I'll truly cherish this forever!

Then it's time to construct it! On one side of your colored paper glue down the 4x6 picture of the family holding the bouquet. On the other side of the paper glue down the poem that goes with the picture. Frame it and your good to go!!

As I said, I will always cherish this as one of my favorite gifts! It truly is a "Forever Bouquet" that will never die and be on my walls til my dying day! Enjoy!
