These easy to make coffee themed save the wedding date wrappers are a fun way to send out an announcement for your impending wedding date to guests. Guest can use this functional paper coffee cup wrapper at home, at work, or in the car with their gourmet coffee to keep their hands safe and remind them of your wedding day!

To Make This Coffee Themed Save the Date Wedding Card You Will Need:

Velum

Cardboard

Glue

Printer

Ink

Photo

Ribbon

Grommets

To gets started you want to take a photo of you and your groom. Keep the theme alive by having the shot taken in your favorite local coffee shop. Black and white or sepia colored prints look best as a simple background for ht coffee wrapper, so try to stick with that.

Now, choose the option on your camera that allows you to take a panoramic shot. You can also crop the image later on your computer using whatever program came with your digital camera.

Now, cut out your white card board, white poster board, or white card stock out to 11 inches long and 4 inches tall.

Tip: You can also recycle old coffee cup wrappers used with other paper coffee cups.

Now, print your photo out on fun paper. Velum is a sturdy type to use and can be bought in any craft store or art store.

Cut out a second piece of velum for the inside as well.

Next, cut out the photos to the same size as the cardboard. Line a card board and a photo up. Put another piece of velum on the back. Punch holes into the top edge and bottom edge. Space them out an inch and keep them about ½ inch down from the edge.

Now, run ribbon through the holes. You want to cut the ribbon about 14 inches long at least. Run one piece through the top holes an done woven back and forth through the bottom holes of the coffee cup wrapper wedding save the date card.

Try to us ea color of ribbon that will be used in your wedding to give a little foreshadowing to your wedding guests.

Tip When you print your photo, then you want to print your save the wedding date information on the velum. Try to use a colored ink or metallic ink. This will stand out on the black and white photo.
