Bakers love kitchen gadgets, but which ones make the perfect holiday gifts? I love to bake and have several different gadgets all over my kitchen. The great thing about buying gifts for bakers is that they usually need more than one of something, such as cake pans or mixing bowls. Here are nine gift ideas that any baker will love.
Stand Mixer: Buying a stand mixer as a gift can be quite expensive, but the baker in your life will love you forever for it. A stand mixer makes the life of a baker much easier. Picking out this gift can be a little confusing to someone who knows nothing about baking. I highly suggest buying a stand mixer made by KitchenAid. For more information on KitchenAid stand mixers please see my article, KitchenAid Stand Mixer: The Best Stand Mixer Money Can Buy.
Mixing Bowls: Around the holidays bakers dirty up every one of their mixing bowls. Mixing bowls make a great gift because the baker in your life won’t have to stop and wash dishes in-between baking. They’ll be able to get everything done and then wash the dishes which is so much easier.
Silicone Mats: Nothing is worse than making a batch of cookies and having them stick to your cookie sheet. This is why silicone mats make a wonderful gift. Nothing sticks to these mats; professional bakers even use them. The baker in your life will really thank you for this gift.
Silicone Baking Cups: Bakers hate cookies that stick to the pan as well as muffins and cupcakes that do the same thing, that’s why silicone baking cups make such a great gift. This gift can not only be used for cupcakes and muffins, but can also be used as a mold for chocolate and things like gelatin and frozen desserts.
Cookie Gun: Bakers love to bake cookies. A cookie gun makes the perfect gift because bakers can quickly and easily make several cookies and make different shapes. Cookie guns also make a great gift because they can be used for stuffing éclairs, cream puffs, etc.
