Living in San Antonio is a blessing. There are so many things to do, and so many places to go to. One of the most popular fun destinies in San Antonio is Sea World. My family and I decided to spend a wonderful spring day enjoying one of the best thematic parks in the world.

My first advice to have the best time in Sea World, or in any popular place in San Antonio, is to go in the early spring. The weather here is almost always very good, but summer is really hot. A sunny day in March will be perfect, and the park won't be so crowed as in the summer. Dress in comfortable clothes and shoes, bring your sunglasses and your camera, and enjoy the fun.

We purchased season passes, the basic one costs 59.00 dollars, and gives you the free entrance at the park for all the season. The season passes include free rides and shows. But make sure you have cash, because you and your family will want to buy drinks, food or souvenirs, and if you'll want to feed the sea lions or the dolphins, you'll have to buy the food, it coast around 5.00 dollars. There also have picnics, with hot dogs and burgers, and cost around 10.00 dollars.

Second but not less important advice to enjoy your visit to Sea World in San Antonio: When you buy your tickets or season pass, take your brochure with the map of the park and the schedule of the shows, study it and plan your visit. Many shows, like the informative presentation on the Alligator Alley, or the Penguin Encounter, end early, around 1:00 PM or 2:30 PM. The rides are open until 9:00 PM, so leave them to the end of your visit.

We wanted to see and enjoy everything, but we realized the park is huge, and there are so many things to do. It is better to do whatever you can, and come back, that is another reason the season pass is the best option.

The first thing we did was to visit the Dolphin Cove. There you can see and feed the dolphins, and listen to the informative presentation. The dolphins are very friendly, and the children had a blast touching them.
