My Guardian Angel

I believe that God created an angel;
To be my guardian and my guide;
A gentle reminder of His love for me;
She is a lovely angel;
Beautiful and sweet;
She is with me everyday;
And she whispers His words into my ear;
I cannot see her with my eyes;
But I know that she is there;
Protection from my own careless ways;
I call her "Mary";
A beautiful and perfect name;
The one given to the Mother of my Lord;
But also of an earth angel I know;
Who is wise and is gifted;
Quick to give advice, or even a dolly;
To bring others joy;
I believe that she has an angel too;
And I pray that the Lord will protect her;
For this world can be a very sad place;
So many lost in pain and fear;
We need more of His angels;
Like the angels I know;
Mary, my guardian angel;
And Mary, my angel friend!
