Father's Day is just around the corner. A nice way to show appreciation for your Father is to share some meaningful Father's Day poems with him! I like to take the fun approach to writing Father's Day poems. Most Fathers have a sense of humor and adding this element makes reading Father's Day poems even more enjoyable! Have a very Happy Father's Day. D Is For Dad
D is for Dad.
That is a name that you earned.
One of the very first words
that I ever learned.
A is for always.
Always trying to.
When I didn't think I could,
the encouragement that I needed always came from you.
D is for doing.
I didn't forget, you see.
So many times you asked me
"What are you doing?"
These Father's Day poems have an element of fun and meaning. Share Father's Day with your Father and let him know that you love him.
Dad Is The One
Dad is the one
who taught me to never run.
He taught me to face my fear.
He taught me how to have fun.
Dad is the one.
He taught me how to fish.
He sent me off on my first bike.
He told me to always try.
He never liked to see me cry.
Dad is the one
He always did what he could.
He was very brave.
He served his country and I want to say
Dad, I love you, have a Happy Father's Day.
My Father
My Father,
he was cool.
My Father
taught me not be a fool.
My Father,
I learned by your example.
My Father
gave me all of the lessons that I could handle.
My Father
was smart.
My Father
gave me my heart.
My Father's
wide smile
is something I love
to see shine.
My Father,
These Father's Day poems are to say
how much of a difference in my life
that you made!
Father's Day poems are special. Father's are special, too! Take the time to tell your Father how much he means to you, on this Father's Day!
