Inexpensive maternity clothes seem so hard to find. Many stores inflate prices of maternity wear because of the demand. And most maternity boutiques sell apparel at extremely high prices also. However, there are ways to get inexpensive maternity clothes and keep some or all of your hard earned cash in your pocket.
Shop major department stores.
Many clothing stores do not have a maternity section. And of the ones that do, most are overpriced. However, you can purchase inexpensive maternity clothes from Kmart, Wal-mart, Burlington Coat Factory, and Old Navy. These stores don’t increase the price of an item just because it is for expectant mothers.
Shop via the internet if you don’t have these stores in your area. You want inexpensive maternity clothes so maximize your savings online by buying items that are on clearance. Also, buy all of your clothing with one purchase to save on shipping charges.
Super size it.
Who says that inexpensive maternity clothes have to be “maternity”? Depending on how you are carrying, you may be able to purchase regular sized clothing a few sizes larger than you normally wear. In this case, be sure to purchase items that have a lot of give in the waist and hip areas. This works well if you are looking for a particular style of clothing but are unable to find a maternity version of it.
