Go Back in Time and Remember the Sayings Our Mother and Father Use to Say to Us

Sayings Our Parents Use to Say to Us, but We Now We Say Them to Our Kids

Close your eyes and go back to when you were a child. Do you remember your parents use to to say all those crazy sayings to you? Where we would just sit there, stare at them straight in the face and laugh? In all reality though we say these things to our children now, which is so funny
because we always use to say I will never say those things. Being that mothers day and fathers day is coming, it just made me think about all those saying that I admit saying too.

1. Did it hurt? I'm sorry I didn't feel a thing

2. Well if your gonna be that stupid enough to do it, then you gotta be smart about it

3. Your not leaving the house dressed like that. Get in that house right now and change before I do it

4. I don't care what other parents say or do. I'm not them

5. What do you think I am a bank or something?

6. How many times do I have to tell you? Do I have to pound it into your head to get it through to you?

7. Don't you dare look at me in that tone of voice of yours. It ain't gonna get you anywhere

8. Your gonna like it no matter if you like it or not. I'm not made of money.

9. Stop crying or I'll give you something to cry about.

10. If your friend told you to jump off a bridge would you?

11. Go tell your mother I don't want to hear it

12. This is your final warning. I'm not gonna tell you again

13. You think it's funny? Wipe off that smart ass smile off your face right now

14. I'll tell you why, because I said so that's why

15. As long as you live under my roof, you'll live by my rules

Some I remember: - I'll give you something to cry about. - Ask your mother. - Because I'm the mom! - You weren't born with a silver spoon in your mouth. - Who do you think we are...the Rockefellers?

Great trip down memory lane. There are some that I do not tell my kids and others that I do. My favorite actually came from my Father-in-law -- "Why don't you move out while you still know everything?"
