As a mother, and for most of the mothers that I have known my entire life. We like simple, it doesn't have to be a big extravaganza for mother's day. A simple, I love you, or card does the trick. If , though, you are going all out in the treats to make your mother feel special on this day. Here are some really great, but simple, ideas that anyone can make.

Sunshine Mother's Day Breakfast (Note: Make sure a grown up helps out)

Ingredients Needed:

Any Baking Mix

Orange Juice

M&Ms

Redi-Whip (can)

20oz 7up or sprite

Bite size muffins

A simple vase or 1 quart mason jar

Handpicked dandelions or wildflowers

First make pancakes or waffles according to the instructions on the back of the baking mix box and cook them in a fry pan with some cooking spray. Make 2 -3 pancakes/waffles.

Grab a plate and put the pancakes/waffles on it one on top of the other make sure that you butter the bottom ones. On the top pancake/waffle, spray redi-whip to make the eyes and nose of a person, then add the M&Ms for the smile.

Next take 12oz glass and fill it ½ way full of orange juice. Then add the other ½ with the 7up or sprite. Stir.

On a smaller plate arrange the bite size muffins, so that the plate has a smiley face on it.

Next take the vase or mason jar and fill it ¼ -½ the way full with water, place dandelions or wildflowers into it.

If you have a tray for serving breakfast in bed, then make sure you arrange it so that it will be a sunny surprise for your mom. If not, then make sure you have the table set with appropriate silverware, place the flowers in the middle of the table and set the plates of food on the table along with the glass of "sunshine" juice. Now Go wake up your MOM!!

M-O-M COOKIES (Note: Make sure a grown up helps out)

Some Flour
