I am a big fan of Yoplait yogurts. My husband and I go through about 35 or so yogurt cups a month between the two of us. We have tried a lot of different flavors such as strawberry, cherry, blueberry, banana, key lime, vanilla and strawberry-banana. I discovered one really great flavor today when I went grocery shopping. I was so eager to try it that I ate it as soon as I got home. This mystery flavor is called Apple Turnover. Oh, it is so good. You'll think you're in heaven after your taste buds get overwhelmed with the smooth and creamy yogurt. You will be surprised when you also get the added pleasure of experiencing the little chunks of apples stirred into the creamy mixture. It tastes like apple pie! This yogurt is very yummy.Yoplait Light and Fat Free Apple Turnover Yogurt come in 6oz plastic blue and white cups with foil lids. They are located with all the yogurts in the dairy section of your local grocery store. They will usually run you about 55 cents a piece. They can also be bought in larger packs of preselected flavors. I myself prefer to have the freedom of picking my flavors, so I choose to buy them separately.
These yogurts contain active yogurt cultures including L Acidophilus. It also contains Phenylalanine. This yogurt must be refrigerated at all times and is good for seven days beyond the sell-by-date. Vitamins A & D are added, but it naturally contains 20% Calcium and 5g of protein. Serving size is one container, but I am bad I eat two. They are too good.
I love this yogurt because it tastes great in all its flavors. The price isn't too bad and it is easy to open. This particular yogurt contains no fat and only 100 calories. The added vitamins are also a benefit. The flavor Apple Turnover tastes like its name. All the flavors live up to their name. No cheap knock off tastes here. I give this product a definite A++ in taste.
What I didn't like about this product was that it is high in sugar and one serving just isn't enough when it tastes so good. Some grocery stores also do not carry this particular flavor. This yogurt also disappears fast from my refrigerator. It's a race between my husband and I, as to who gets the good ones first.
