Are you pleased with a particular company’s high quality of customer service or, have you ever wanted to sound off about a company that ripped you off?  Well, PlanetFeedback.com is the place to tell it all.  The website proclaims, in its mission statement, to be passionately committed to helping consumers use their new power.  They do this by providing regular people with a platform to communicate with the CEO’s of many large companies.  Within minutes of signing up via PlanetFeedback’s free registration, users are able to write letters about their positive and negative experiences with everyone from American Express to T-Mobile.

On the main page of PlanetFeedback.com, a small, yet always interesting sampling of Shared Letters can be found.  These are letters which users have opted to make viewable to the general public.  Other users can read and comment on the letters of their fellow site visitors.  The other option for writing letters is to make them private, so that only the user and the company’s contact person are able to view the information.

PlanetFeedback includes six sections, called Channels,.  In Shared Letters, you can read letters posted by other users.  There is also a Company Responses channel for reading; you guessed it, responses from companies.  Consumer Podcasts offers users the opportunity to listen to audio versions of PlanetFeedback letters.  This proves to be an ever-entertaining part of the website!  People lament about the good, bad, and very, very ugly of your favorite businesses. The other sections, Mr. Helpful’s Tip Jar and PFB Feedback Line are for the website’s users to enjoy their own sense of community.  Through these last two channels, they are able to share information and suggestions with one another.
