Pheromones and Sexual Chemistry

Is it Real?

What is that animal attraction that we feel with certain people? It has a very distinct presence and power of it's own, and it is for the most part uncontrollable and irresistible. It's the one word most people have heard but don’t question its authenticity. Pheromones. Pheromones
are what drives the animal attraction between two physical beings. It is the coup d'etat of our sexual essence.

Accordking to Merriam-Webster, the word Pheromone comes to us from Greek origin from the word Pheran, meaning to transfer and Horman, meaning to excite. Pheromone a naturally occurring chemical compound found in all insects, animals, and humans sends airborne messages to trigger a response from one member of the opposite sex to the other. When pheromones are secreted they dictate sexual behavior and attract the opposite sex. It is reported that when two individuals in the presence of each other are secreting pheromones simultaneously the sexual attraction is impossible to ignore.

A large percentage of fragrances on the market today have optimized pheromones designed in use to increase sexual attraction between men and women. Pheromones are also well known as an aphrodisiac and love potion. One of the first perfumes with this reputation was the women's fragrance Pheromone, known specifically for it enhancing abilities. It is a strong fragrance, to be used very lightly and is worn best in a cooler climate. It is a little overwhelming but it is said to send the strongest of messages on the level of a pheromone. Pheromones are not limited to female fragrances and are in several populars men's colognes. On an interesting note, though all women love a good smelling man, the male human pheromone Androstenone intended to attract women is secreted through a males sweatglands.
