Hillary Clinton may have lost some steam, but the democratic presidential nominee is not set in stone yet. Things are still very close between her and Barack Obama. Democrats want to choose the person who has the best chances of winning against John McCain. Hillary Clinton's choice for a running mate could easily make or break her campaign.

Clinton has suggested that she wouldn't mind running with Barack Obama. To many democrats, this is a ticket of change. The two of them together could do amazing things for the United States. It would bring diversity to Washington in a way that has never been done. Clinton has the experience; Obama has the fresh ideas and the drive for change. Obama could also use the vice presidency as a stepping stone to run for a future election. It is unclear whether Obama is humble enough to settle for vice presidency. That is the only thing stopping this dream ticket.

Joe Bidden would also make an excellent choice for a running mate. Biden has a lot of support from the far left, and he also has a lot of experience. The only thing stopping this powerful match is Bill Clinton! Joe Biden is a fire cracker and he is not going to let Bill Clinton interfere with his vice presidency. Bill Clinton would definitely have a tremendous influence on a Hillary Clinton presidency and I don't Bidden would be able to handle that.

Two current governors, Ted Strickland and Bill Richardson, could also be good running mates for Hillary Clinton. They both have experience in the executive branch, and would help Clinton gain more credibility. Richardson is friend of the Clintons, and Strickland s the governor of one of the most important states in the 2008 election. Even though Richardson supports Obama, he could easily switch sides if Clinton is chosen as the presidential nominee.

It seems like the only one that doesn't know that it is over is Hillary. Since it worked for her before, I guess she could try crying again. Hillary is the very definition of raw, ruthless ambition. Afro-American America is about to get the first real look at who the Clintons really are. And it won't be pretty. Hillary crying is for real - give me a break!!

I think at this point she would definitely have to pass on Bill Richardson, who even though he was a member of Bill Clinton's cabinet, publicly gave his support to Barack Obama. What about Barack and Hil together? Yeah, like that would ever happen~

Personally I Love seeing the attention Hillary is getting again, and I feel so many people were misled in the beginning with wanting to Vote for Obama. With her winning Pennsylvania the other day, I feel this is the Boost and push she needed. Honestly I have heard it said that a lot of the people wish there was a do over, and they would Vote Hillary now instead. I am 100% a Hillary backer now, and hope somehow she will be our next President. Just hope she can find a strong enough backer for her as VP to help her win it all.

Clinton has an ego problem, a truth problem, and a morality problem. Anyone with more of any of these than she will not be chosen as her VP. Her choice will basically be a power trip of whom she thinks she can outshine and control.

Hi, My name is Mark Harrington and I am chairman of Rochelle Moore fanclub (celtic witch and international author on amazon - Aromatherapy & Herbalism only one of her excellent works) ok, your article is just brilliant and can I suggest that Rochelle should run for President - lol I know she is based in Ireland but she would enchant anyone 10 out of 10 mark

Hillary's campaign shows what a tough nut she is. If she can run the country as good as she weathers this campaign, we'll be in 100% a better place. Obama's sins are now coming out because the GOP was hoping he'd make the final and then they could rip the lid off and stun voters and get them to shrug and vote for MCCain.

Spam like this demeans people who are trying to do good work. It cheapens the Associated Content "brand." I can't blame you. All's this outfit seems to want is the same two "page" platform to hang Google AdSense ads on. Instead of dissing you, I should take my content elsewhere.

This is not a thorough analysis. This is just spam.

Joe "Bidden." LOL. Well, keep in mind that Hillary is NOT in the lead for the delegate count (to the other commenters).

Good article! I used to think Barack Obama would be a good choice for her VP but not any longer.

Wesley Clark would be a great choice to bring in moderate (and even conservative) voters. Hillary needs a more conservative running mate. Bill was a successful president because he was able to govern from the center.

D.Trem, now when it comes to selecting the most qualified running partner you have indeed presented quite a picture, not so perfect, but at least a picture. Concerning Biden, perhaps he's a good canididate, but after your summation I don't think Biden would stand a ghost of a chance. Not so fast, I could be wrong. However, I must admit that I got a good chuckle at the very thought of Bill as you have proposed. Definitely, not Bill Richardson and Michael Bloomberg does nothing in the way of second fiddler, its either all or nothing at all. So, I suppose we will just have to wait and see. Enjoyed your article :)

Norman, like you I too vote for Hillary, I'm hoping that she will go all the way to the White House. I believe as a president the voters will see a different kind of politician. There is none so righteous or perfect that we can not forgive or at least be willing to meet them half way and to be partial in our beliefs that we can all be redeemed. It's time for a change.
