Homemade Mother's Day Photo Albums

Making gifts can be fun and easy. Making your mom a homemade gift for Mother's day is a great way to make sure you give her a gift she is going to love. Supplies:
A Plain scrap-booking photo album
Scrapbook paper
Assorted stickers
Letter stickers
Assorted embellishments and accessories

Step one is to take a basic scrapbook album and personalize it for mothers day. You want to use letter stickers to put a name for the album. A great theme is past mothers days. Or you can use any theme that is special to you and your mother. I like to keep the front of the album very basic and just put a name and a single picture or phrase that goes with the album.

Step two is to make the scrapbook pages. You will want to create the pages to go with your theme. You can often buy phrases that have to do with Mothers day that will accentuate the pictures. If you don't have any pre-printed phrases to use you can be creative or you can go on the Internet and search for mother's day phrases. On each page put pictures that are special to you and your mother. It is also nice on each page to write a little about what was going on when the picture was taken. Another option for the text block is to put your current thoughts on the pictures.

Step three is to embellish the pages. You can use stickers, and other embellishments to make the pages unique. You will want to Tailor the page to your moms interests. Remember that when decorating there is no right or wrong, whatever you do is perfect.
