Last week when stopping into my local Rite Aide, I came across a shelf lined with a new product that immediately caught my eye, and immediately I knew I had to have it.

Unfortunately when I picked the compact of makeup up by NYX, I had no clue what it was. Sadly the label did not describe what the hell it was. What I was looking at though was a long plastic compact with 5 pallets filled with glittery color. Each color was bold, contained tons of glitter, and I wanted it no matter what it was.

The only description I got was that it was a cream pallet, I had no clue what it was other than that. Either way though, it was pretty, and I wanted it.

My boyfriend said he thought it was eye shadow, I however thought that it was some sort of high glittery lip gloss.

I choose the color combination Paradise, and Utopia (which I will review later on).

Anyways for now I will focus on Paradise.

Paradise contained 5 colors, one was a very neon colored pink, the glitter however gave off a very pale purple color. Combined it was really pretty.
Next to the pink colored pallet, sat black. This was my favorite because I knew that if this stuff was eyeliner, I would apply it directly on top of my black eyeliner for a very cool sparkly look. The glitter shimmered a nice deep purple, blue and dark green.

Next to the black pallet was plain white. The glitter though shimmered a nice holographic color which more or less resembled a rainbow type of shimmer...only more pastel like.

After that came gold, which was nothing more than gold all together. There was no extra double toned shimmer. The gel makeup was gold, as was the glitter. I especially liked it though because I knew it would look good on top of brown eyeshadow.

Last but not least came silver which is probably my second favorite color next to black. This particular glitter shimmers a deep rainbow holographic color which shines better than the other colors that come in the set. I figured this would look gnarly on top of black eyeliner.

What Was It?
