in excellent condition. They have a pretty wide variety, too, from business wear to vintage clothes to clothing for college kids and teenagers. They also have a lot of shoes, jewelry, and various sundry items including makeup. You can find a Gap or Express shirt there for about seven dollars or less. The vintage clothing is more expensive.

2) Plato's Closet: 2310 Battleground Ave.
Plato's is the other store that buys and sells used clothing only in excellent condition. Plato's is marketed towards a younger demographic and sells clothes mainly for teenagers and young adults. They also only sell clothes that are in current style and mostly buy mall brands (American Eagle, Abercrombie, Express, Wet Seal, Mudd, etc). They have a great selection of jeans and tops and even have a men's section (much smaller than the women's but still decent). They also have a clearance rack with some great bargains. You just have to be careful with this - sometimes the clothing on the clearance rack is damaged. Sometimes, though, it's just there because it has been in the store for a while.

Thrift Stores:

3.) Goodwill: 3921 Battleground Ave., 1235 S. Eugene St., 1421-C E. Cone Blvd.
Goodwill is a charity so they are less picky about the clothing they accept, but if you look carefully you can often find some good items there for really really cheap. Goodwill is an especially good place to look for shoes because they have a wide selection of shoes that are often in good condition and incredibly inexpensive.
