How Could I Not Love You?

Oh, I will forever trust You and love You
with my entire heart, spirit, and mind;
Before the so-called "gods" of this world,
I will sing praises only to You.

How could I not bow and praise your name?
Your love is unexplainable, Your faithfulness inexplicable.
You have exalted Your Word above Your Own Name,
And I understand why - at least I think

I do.  

When I called, You answered me in a way I understood;
You made me bold and stouthearted -- not a victim anymore!
Those times when I have walked in the midst of trouble,

You have preserved my life and brought me to wholeness.

You have stretched out Your hand against the anger of

those who intended to do harm to me. I love You, Lord!

I know, beyond any doubt, You will fulfill Your purpose for me!

I do not doubt, Lord, You will perfect every detail that concerns me.

I am Your child and You know me inside and out.

You know exactly what I need at every moment of my life.

I know Your Word says there is coming a Day
when every knee shall bow, and every tongue will
confess that Your Son, Jesus, is, indeed, LORD.
How I long for that day! Come quickly! (Based on Psalm 138)
