3 Homemade Beauty Secrets: Using Honey, Olive Oil and More

With just a few simple ingredients that you probably already have, you can give yourself the ultimate spa treatment. You don't need to spend a fortune or a lot of time with my three homemade beauty tips that will give you radiant skin and shiny hair.

Homemade Beauty Tips #1:
Honey Mask for Well-Balanced Skin

Honey is the perfect balancing treatment and moisturizer. Of all my homemade beauty tips, honey is the one thing I can't be without.

I've heard that honey has antiseptic, healing properties that have been used to heal infections. All I know is that honey may be the perfect product. It makes the best facial mask, hair conditioner, and tea / food sweetener. Honey fights infections, acne, and dry skin...so in my opinion, it's a must for every woman's skincare regime.

Homemade Beauty Tips How To: All you need is honey. This is an easy, natural mask for people with dry or acne prone skin. After washing your face, gently apply honey with your hands to your face, lips, and eyelids. After 10 - 20 minutes, gently rinse it off. I've found it to be an excellent moisturizing treatment, and perfect to remove dry patches on skin or lips.

Homemade Beauty Tips Hint: Depending on the type of honey you use, the mask tends to get drippy quickly so it's best to do this treatment over the sink or in the shower. You can even use it as a hair conditioner or mix it in with your conditioner for shinier hair.

Homemade Beauty Tips #2: Aspirin and Honey Miracle Mask

In my opinion, this is the perfect treatment for almost all skin types and issues. We all need to exfoliate daily to unclog pores. Aspirin helps you exfoliate naturally. The main ingredient is an acid that is a derivative of salicylic acid, which is an effective exfoliant that cleans deep within the pores.

Homemade Beauty Tips How To: Put 4 - 8 aspirin tablets (non-coated) in your palm. Add a couple drops of water, then mash it into a paste with your fingers. Do not use too much water or it will be too runny. Then squirt honey into the mix. Apply the mixture to your face, avoiding your eyes, lips, and nostrils. Let it sit for about 10 - 20 minutes. Gently wash off with water.
