One of Zoar Outdoor's biggest attractions is white water river rafting. Most of their rafting occurs on the Deerfield River where you and a group of people trek down sections of the river that can extend anywhere from ten miles to seventeen miles long.
One of the most popular rafting packages they offer is the Rafting Zoar Gap. This is a beginner/intermediate rafting trip that goes for ten miles down Deerfield River. There are multiple rapid sections that you will travel through and when you have passed the large Zoar Gap, you pull-over for a lunch and break from the water.
Other rafting sessions include the Dryway and the Family Float trip. These trips are exciting and will usually consume most of your head as your head down the rivers. Zoar Outdoor also offers a slower paced and more relaxing adventure with their kayak and canoe trips. These trips also take place in the Deerfield River and if you are more adventurous, you can actually take a kayak white water rafting as well with their advanced training classes. These classes are 3-5 days long and will help you learn many different kayak techniques in the water.
For those of you that want to remain dry and explore the land of New England, you can participate in some of their other activities like Rock climbing. There are three different rock climbing classes, and even a child's climbing program called "Kid's Climbing Craze". Children 10-15 will learnt eh basics of rock climbing along with teamwork, knot tying, and even challenge their selves to more difficult climbs.
