Older Women, Younger Men: A Poem About Why I Love Younger Men!

I hate that double standard: It's routine for men to date younger women. But still questionable when women date younger men, regardless of age bracket. Even when a 65-year-old woman dates a 45-year-old man, criticism erupts. How old must a man get to be "mature?" 90? If I had a younger man, I'd DARE anyone to challenge me on it! And if you're a man who wants to date older women, don't hesitate to approach an older woman. Don't assume she wouldn't be interested.

So that's why I wrote a poem. Since when are two people (in a relationship) perfectly, 100-percent matched for maturity, anyways? SOMEONE has to be the less mature. Why can't it be the man? My brother's wife is 14 years younger, and she is clearly the less mature of the two. But I guess that's okay. My cousin is 12 years younger than his wife. If HE were the less mature, there'd be criticism.

So for all you women who like younger men, enjoy my poem!

He doesn't have lots of dough

But boy do his muscle show!

So what if he lacks the wisdom of time

I want a physique that's in its prime

Perhaps full maturity ain't all there

Big stinking deal; he's got all his hair!

He bounces around with energy

So easily keeping up with me

Not lagging behind as I exercise

He perks around on his very firm thighs

And so much charm and spunk

Makes up this delightful hunk

So ladies, what do we know him as

This guy who sparkles with pizzazz?

He's the younger man, didn't you know

The wrinkle-free one who's on the go

Don't any longer wait

Just go out and try

To capture a date

With a much younger guy!

Youth is too precious to trade for maturity

So let's go after the hunk under thirty

Like men around nineteen or twenty

Who cares about the older man's money!
